St Ives Bush Loops

A stunning walk through sandstone bushland, featuring beautiful She-oaks and Sydney Red Gums. We’ll begin on the Darri Track and enjoy a shady, peaceful stretch of native forest before walking back along the footpath of Warrimoo Avenue. Ideal if you're rebuilding fitness after injury, coming back from time off, or just want an easy, low-pressure way to get moving before tackling longer trails.

This walk features a gentle combination of paved footpaths, suburban sidewalks and dirt bush tracks. There are minimal gradient changes, making it accessible for anyone with basic day-to-day fitness. Expect a relaxed, non-competitive pace with plenty of opportunities to pause and catch your breath.

🎒 What to Bring

• 1.5–2L of water • Comfortable walking shoes with good grip • Lightweight clothing layers • Hiking poles (optional) • Hat, sunscreen & sunglasses • Snack style food (eg. fruit, light sandwich) • A small daypack for your essentials

📑 Cancellations

If you can’t make it, please cancel your place by texting Kirsty on 0404 125 517 so another participant can take your place. Walks may be rescheduled or cancelled in poor weather.

📝 Waiver Required

Once booked, you will receive a follow-up email containing a link to our digital waiver form. Please ensure this is completed prior to the morning of our walk (waivers are only required once every 12 months). You’ll also receive an invitation to our event WhatsApp group for final coordination, real-time updates, and the chance to connect with your walking buddies before we head off on the walk.
