This experience is designed for women who want to feel grounded in nature, capturing the raw beauty of the Gardens of Stone while moving at a pace that honours both the body and the spirit.

📖 Full Description

Join a small group tour in Central West NSW to the Gardens of Stone Conservation Area, and explore the amazing Lost City rock formations called pagodas. Your tour includes a fresh, locally made picnic lunch, a guided hike of approximately 6kms and creative smartphone photography tips along the way. Learn about the Pagodas and experience their striking rock formations. Enjoy simple hands-on guidance for photographing nature and landscapes with your smartphone. Our hike is for those with a moderate fitness level. Your itinerary has been curated by Kirsty, who knows the area well. This is a small-group, personal experience designed for women who want to feel connected to nature, capture great photos and enjoy the day at a relaxed, supportive pace.

🚗 Getting There

  • Pickup Point 1 (Blackheath): Meet at Blackheath Station. Look for the Seek Sista grey shuttle van. Exact time will be confirmed via text.

  • Pickup Point 2 (Lithgow): Meet at Lithgow Station for a short transfer to the trail. Exact time will be confirmed via text.

  • Driving Yourself: You can choose to meet us directly at The Lost City Car Park. Please note the road to the car park can be rough; a 4WD or AWD is recommended.

  • Guided 6km hike led by Kirsty, our experienced and First Aid–certified outdoor guide.

  • Return transport (if you choose) from Blackheath or Lithgow Stations to The Lost City and back.

  • Morning tea & coffee.

  • Freshly made picnic lunch, catering to all dietary requirements.

  • Creative smartphone photography tips for capturing nature and landscapes.

  • Fully licensed and insured to operate in National Parks.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

🎒 What to Bring

  • Hydration: 1.5–2L of water.

  • Footwear: Hiking shoes with good grip.

  • Support: Hiking poles (recommended).

  • Protection: Light clothing layers, hat and sunscreen.

  • Essentials: A small daypack and a personal mug for coffee or tea.

  • Tech: Smartphone for photos and portable power bank

🌦️ Know Before You Go

  • Pick-Up & Drop-Off: For your convenience, we offer shuttle pick-up from either Blackheath or Lithgow Stations (exact pick-up point and time will be texted after booking). Look for the Seek Sista grey shuttle van. Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure a smooth departure. Our guide Kirsty will greet you and help with any questions before the journey to The Lost City.

  • Lunch: Freshly made picnic lunch provided, catering to dietary requirements. Dietary info will be requested at booking.

  • Weather: Tour operates in all weather conditions except storms and extreme heat. Free cancellations up to 3 days prior. Check local conditions by Googling “Lithgow Weather.”

  • Language: Tour conducted in English.

  • Age & Fitness: Participants are mostly aged 30s–60s. Moderate fitness is recommended.

📑 Minimum Group Size & Cancellation Policy

We require at least 3 participants to run. We will confirm the event 3 days before the scheduled date.

  • 7+ days notice: Full refund.

  • 3–6 days notice: 50% refund.

  • Less than 3 days notice: No refund. If the minimum group size isn’t met, we’ll contact you to reschedule or provide a full refund.

Upon booking, you will receive a follow-up email with a digital waiver and final meeting instructions. Please ensure this is completed prior to arrival.

Kirsty is an experienced outdoor guide, graphic designer, and lifelong adventurer based in NSW. With over 15 years spent working in sport and outdoor spaces, she is First Aid trained and deeply committed to your safety and experience. After decades of coaching, competing, and creating, Kirsty launched Seek Sista in 2024 to offer a welcoming, down-to-earth space for women seeking a sense of belonging and a boost of confidence. She’s passionate about helping others reconnect with nature through active experiences, using her eye for design to help you capture the beauty of the bush.
