Escape to the ancient "Lost City" in NSW's Gardens of Stone, a hidden sanctuary of towering sandstone pagodas carved by wind and water over millions of years.
 

Curated by local guide Kirsty, this intimate, small-group trip offers a welcoming, low-pressure space for women to switch off and connect. Together, we’ll explore these labyrinthine rock towers, narrow slot gullies, and sweeping canyon views at a relaxed pace. Along the way, enjoy simple smartphone photography tips to capture the vibrant light and texture of the rocks.
 

Pause for a hot cuppa and a fresh, locally sourced picnic lunch nestled among the pagodas, giving you space to chat naturally or soak in the serene wilderness. With all logistics seamlessly managed, you can just show up, recharge, and discover one of Australia's most spectacular hidden wonders.
 

🚗 Getting There

• By Car: We meet at The Lost City Car Park at 10:30am. Please note that the final stretch of the drive involves unsealed roads; a 4WD or AWD is recommended for this section.

• By Train & Shuttle: If you prefer not to drive, we offer a return shuttle service from:​
  Katoomba Station: Departing at 9:00am
  Lithgow Station: Departing at 10:00am

• Guidance: Guided 6km hike led by Kirsty, our experienced and First Aid–certified outdoor guide.

• Transport: Return shuttle transfers (if you choose) from Blackheath Station to The Lost City and back.

• Morning Tea: Morning tea & coffee provided.

• Picnic Lunch: Freshly made picnic lunch, catering to all dietary requirements.

• Creative Instruction: Creative smartphone photography tips for capturing nature and landscapes.

• Park Fees: Fully licensed and insured to operate in National Parks (Parks Eco Pass).

• Personal Gear: Items like hiking poles, specific clothing, or power banks.

• Additional Snacks: Any extra food or beverages beyond the provided morning tea and lunch.

• Travel Insurance: Recommended but not included.
   

👋 Meet Your Guide

Kirsty is an experienced and knowledgeable outdoor guide, photographer and designer. She launched Seek Sista to create a welcoming space for women to slow down, connect, and enjoy the outdoors at a gentler pace. She loves showing women how to capture textures, colours and great compositions using just their phone - no fancy gear needed!
 

ℹ️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION

🎒 What to Bring

• 1.5–2L of water

• Hiking shoes with good grip

• Hiking poles (recommended)

• Light clothing layers, hat and sunscreen

• A small daypack and a personal mug for coffee or tea

• Smartphone for photos and portable power bank
   

📑 Minimum Group Size & Cancellation Policy

• Minimum group: The event will proceed with a minimum of 2 participants. If the minimum is not met, Seek Sista will contact you at least 48 hours before the event to offer a full refund or transfer to another date.

• Full refund: Cancellations made 7 days or more before the event.

• 50% refund: Cancellations made 3–6 days before the event.

• No refund: Cancellations made less than 3 days before the event or no-shows.

• Event postponement: If the event is cancelled by Seek Sista due to weather, track conditions, or safety concerns, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a new date.

Once booked, you will receive a follow-up email containing a link to our digital waiver form. Please ensure this is completed prior to the day of the event. You’ll also receive an invitation to our event WhatsApp group for final coordination and real-time updates.
