📖 Full Description

For this lesson we are partnering with She SUPs, a female focus stand-up paddleboarding business specialising in building SUP confidence in women of all ages. This session offers a gentle introduction to paddle boarding, empowering you with knowledge and skills you can use all Summer long. Designed to foster fun and safety you'll join a like-minded group of women to build skills and confidence while exploring one of Sydney's beautiful natural waterways. We chose Lane Cove River for this lesson, because it is a very protected waterway and away from fast moving boats.

Your lesson will be led by Head Instructor and Founder of She SUPs, Vikki Weston. You will start with an on-shore safety briefing before taking to the water. You'll start with basic stroke skills while seated or kneeling and then be guided on how to transition to standing. Whether you stand on day one or prefer to enjoy the ride from your knees or seated, you'll leave feeling empowered with new skills, reconnected to nature and ready for future water adventures.
