Experience one of the most spectacular sections of the iconic Grand Clifftop Walk as we journey 9km from Scenic World to Leura. Take in soaring sandstone cliffs, cascading waterfalls, rainforest gullies and breathtaking Jamison Valley views as we pass Katoomba Falls, Echo Point, the Three Sisters, Leura Cascades and the tranquil Pool of Siloam before finishing at Gladstone Road.

🫶 Why You’ll Love This Hike

We'll begin at Scenic World before joining the Grand Clifftop Walk beneath the dramatic sandstone escarpment. Early in the hike we'll explore Katoomba Falls, Echo Point and the famous Three Sisters, then leave the crowds behind as the trail winds towards Leura.

From there, the walk becomes quieter and even more beautiful, following cliff-edge paths through native bushland, rainforest gullies and past sparkling waterfalls. With breathtaking views across the Jamison Valley around almost every corner, it's the perfect mix of gentle challenge, incredible scenery and great company.

👣 Track Grade Breakdown

Activity Level: Moderate

• Terrain: A beautiful mix of newly refurbished sandstone steps, raised metal boardwalks and natural bush tracks.

• The Stairs: This is the Blue Mountains! While we are staying high on the escarpment, there are plenty of stairs and natural undulations to give your legs a great weekend workout.

• Fitness: You’ll need a solid, moderate fitness level to comfortably maintain a steady pace across the 9km distance.

• Pace: We move with purpose to see as much as possible, but we never leave a Sista behind.

🚗 Getting there

For a comfortable return trip in the Seek Sista Shuttle Van, there are 2 pickup points to choose from. Note: As this is a one-way hike, the van will be waiting at the finish line to transport us back to Scenic World (for those who drove) or the train stations.

• Driving Yourself: Park at Scenic World. After the hike finishes at Gladstone Road, the Seek Sista shuttle will return you to your vehicle.

• Van passengers: Pick point 1 - Gordon Station Pick point 2 - Leura Station

• Led by Kirsty, your friendly, experienced, and first aid trained guide who personally hikes every route in advance.

• End-of-hike shuttle transport from Gladstone Road back to Scenic World or your train station pickup points.

• Licensed and insured to operate within NSW National Parks.

• Small group experience (max. 6 women) for connection and support.

• Tea or coffee served during the hike.

• Optional Post-Hike Social: A chance to enjoy a café lunch and browse the local shops in Springwood on the drive home - we’ll decide together as a group before the day!

🎒 What to Bring

• 1.5 - 2L of water

• Proper hiking shoes (grip is non negotiable here)

• Dress for mountain weather. Layers are essential as conditions in the Blue Mountains can change quickly, even in spring.

• Hiking poles (recommended for the undulating sections)

• Hat and sunscreen

• Light morning tea style snacks/small sandwich

• A mug for tea or coffee
  

📑 Minimum Group Size & Cancellation Policy Minimum group:  The event will proceed with a minimum of 4 participants. If the minimum is not met, Seek Sista will contact you at least 48 hours before the event to offer a full refund or transfer to another date. You’ll receive a full refund if you cancel at least 72 hours before the experience. Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable, but you’re welcome to transfer your spot to a friend. Event postponement: If the event is cancelled by Seek Sista due to weather, track conditions, or safety concerns, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a new date.
