🫶 Why You’ll Love This Hike
Our morning begins at the local park cafe, where we’ll gather to set a grounded intention for the day before stepping onto the soft, dirt-packed Riverside Walking Track. We’ll meander through a lush understory of ferns and past moss-covered sandstone outcrops that make you feel miles away from the North Shore. The path is rhythmic and gentle, allowing plenty of space for meaningful conversation or moments of silent reflection as we pass historic picnic grounds and hidden river bends. At our turnaround point, we’ll pause for morning tea, soaking in the stillness of the bush before retracing our steps. You’ll finish the morning feeling refreshed, connected and home in time for lunch.

🥾 Activity Level & Track Grade
Beginner to Intermediate:
A scenic riverside trek that balances flat boardwalks with authentic, uneven bush tracks and a few short climbs.
Grade 3 (Moderate):
The Climb: Featuring well-maintained bush tracks with some paved sections and short, steep pinches as we move away from the riverbank.
Elevation: Includes several sets of stairs and gradual inclines that require a bit of heart-pumping effort.
Terrain: A mix of defined dirt paths, large sandstone steps and natural rock surfaces that can be uneven underfoot.
Fitness: Requires a baseline level of fitness for the distance and the uphill sections, but we will be taking it at a soulful, steady pace.
