🥾 Join Us for this Unique Creekside Point-to-Point Hike

We’re heading into Garigal National Park for a peaceful 11km point-to-point hike that follows the gentle flow of Frenchs Creek via the Cascades Trail. After a short stretch through quiet suburban streets, we reconnect with the bush - surrounded by ferns, sandstone steps and the soothing sounds of water. We'll meander along Middle Harbour Creek before a final climb up the Bungaroo Track. This trail offers a calming mix of wide fire trail and shady single track, with plenty of moments to pause, breathe and soak it all in. We’ll hike at a steady, chat-friendly pace with breaks to enjoy the scenery and have morning tea by the creek.

🌿 Why You’ll Love This Hike

This is one of Garigal’s most peaceful trails, winding through classic Sydney sandstone country with trickling creeks, lush gullies, and birdsong all around. We’ll begin near the scenic Cascades, where Frenchs Creek tumbles over smooth rock, and follow the flowing water downstream through shady bushland and ferny paths. The walk finishes with a gentle climb up the Bungaroo Track — a historic spot where Governor Phillip once camped in 1788.

It’s a beautiful slice of bushland surprisingly close to suburbia, but it’ll feel a world away.
