A grounded morning escape through the resilient coastal heath and towering scribbly gums surrounding Manly Dam. This 6km loop offers a steady, rhythmic pace perfect for clearing the head and connecting with the quiet beauty of the Northern Beaches bushland.

✨ Highlights

  • Scribbly Gum Forests: Walking among the iconic, smooth-barked gums with their unique natural "carvings."

🚗 Getting there

Complimentary return transport is available in the Seek Sista Shuttle Van for up to 6 participants. Plus Perks members are offered shuttle seats first, with remaining places allocated in booking order. There are 2 pickup points to choose from. Exact locations will be texted upon booking:

🥾 Activity Level

Level: Beginner to Intermediate This 6km walk is a step up from a basic beginner stroll, suited to Sistas who feel ready for a little more challenge while still wanting a supportive experience. The track features a mix of wide fire trails and narrower, rocky sections. While there are no major climbs, you can expect some uneven terrain, occasional loose gravel, and a few steady inclines that require a basic level of fitness and steady footing.

🎒 What to Bring

• 1.5–2L of water • Hiking shoes with good grip • Lightweight clothing layers • Hiking poles (recommended) • Hat, sunscreen & sunglasses • Snack style food (eg. fruit, light sandwich) • A small daypack for your essentials • A mug for your cup of coffee or tea

📑 Cancellations

If you can’t make it, please message Kirsty so another participant can take your place. Walks may be rescheduled or cancelled in poor weather.

📝 Waiver Required

Once booked, you will receive a follow-up email containing a link to our digital waiver form. Please ensure this is completed prior to the morning of our walk (waivers are only required once every 12 months). You’ll also receive an invitation to our event WhatsApp group for final coordination, real-time updates, and the chance to connect with your walking buddies before we head off on the walk.
