🥾 Activity Level
Beginner to Intermediate
This approximate 5km loop around Lake Parramatta is a beautiful, nature-immersive bushwalk tucked away in North Parramatta. Perfect for Sistas looking for a shorter yet scenic escape, the trail circles the entire lake through 75 hectares of pristine remnant bushland, offering a mix of water views and peaceful forest gullies. The trail is moderately graded (Grade 3) and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. While it fits within our Beginner distance, the "Intermediate" elements come from the varied terrain; you can expect natural earth surfaces, sandstone rock shelves, short steep inclines and a few sets of stairs. After rain, the creek crossings may involve stepping stones, requiring a bit more attention underfoot.
