Great River Walk

🌿 What to Expect

This relaxed riverside walk follows the Nepean River along the Great River Walk in Penrith. It's a wide, flat path with beautiful views across the water, shady sections and plenty of open sky. The route takes in both sides of the river, including the Yandhai Nepean Crossing, with time to stop for a cuppa and take in the peaceful outlook. It’s a well-maintained path perfect for a steady-paced walk, with lots of space to chat, move your body and enjoy a bit of nature in the heart of the west.

📍 Meeting Point: Tench Reserve, Penrith

Don’t want to drive? Add-on return transport from Chatswood Station or St Ives Village Shops to Penrith is available.
