🌿 Why You’ll Love This Hike
This is one of Garigal’s most peaceful trails, winding through classic Sydney sandstone country with trickling creeks, lush gullies, and birdsong all around. We’ll begin near the scenic Cascades, where Frenchs Creek tumbles over smooth rock, and follow the flowing water downstream through shady bushland and ferny paths. The walk finishes with a gentle climb up the Bungaroo Track — a historic spot where Governor Phillip once camped in 1788. It’s a beautiful slice of bushland surprisingly close to suburbia, but it’ll feel a world away.
