The ancient, soaring trees and sandstone outcrops of the Angophora Reserve.

Connecting with a small, supportive group of women in the fresh Avalon air.
🫶 Why You’ll Love This Hike
We begin our journey under the lush canopy of Palmgrove Park, where the air is cool and the world feels quiet. As we wind our way up into Angophora Reserve, we’ll admire the giant, twisted gums and natural rock platforms that make this pocket of bush so special. From there, we transition into the light, heading east through Avalon to meet the coastline. The trail opens up onto the Bangalley Headland track—the highest point on Sydney’s northern coastline—where we’ll pause to take in the vastness of the Pacific. We’ll share a warm cup of tea or coffee overlooking the blue before looping back, feeling grounded by the earth and refreshed by the sea.
