🥾 Track Grade Breakdown

Grade 3 track. The walk down to The Cascades follows a wide fire trail with a steady gradient descending into the valley, returning via the same path uphill. A basic level of fitness is required to navigate the return incline, but we maintain a relaxed, comfortable pace for everyone.

🎒 What to Bring

• 1.5–2L of water

• Comfortable walking shoes with good grip

• Lightweight clothing layers

• Hiking poles (optional)

• Hat, sunscreen & sunglasses

• Snack style food (eg. fruit, light sandwich)

• A small daypack for your essentials

📑 Cancellations

If you can’t make it, please cancel your RSVP so another participant can take your place. Walks may be rescheduled or cancelled in poor weather.

📝 Waiver Required

Once booked, you will receive a follow-up email containing a link to our digital waiver form. Please ensure this is completed prior to the morning of our walk (waivers are only required once every 12 months). You’ll also receive an invitation to our event WhatsApp group for final coordination, real-time updates, and the chance to connect with your walking buddies before we head off on the walk.
